Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Payment Information: We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS compliance standards.
Usage Data: We log search queries, search counts, and IP addresses for the purpose of enforcing daily search limits, detecting abuse, and improving our service.
Price Alert Data: If you set price alerts (Pro/Elite plans), we store the card name, grader, grade, and target price you specify.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
Stripe: Payment processing. Your billing data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
eBay: We query eBay's public sold listing data to provide price intelligence. No personal user data is shared with eBay.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Search logs are retained for up to 90 days for analytics and abuse prevention. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.
SlabHQ uses browser localStorage to store your authentication token and plan status locally on your device. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tracking services.
We use industry-standard security practices including bcrypt password hashing, JWT authentication with expiring tokens, HTTPS encryption in transit, and rate limiting on all API endpoints. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request data deletion or export, contact us at privacy@findmyslab.com. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account settings.
SlabHQ is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
